Angelica Puentes, Counseling Intern
I am a Practicum/Internship student in training, currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado. My interest in counseling grew from my experience as a preschool teacher assistant, where I developed an appreciation for the importance of family and the ways our relationships and experiences shape us.
I believe each person has inherent worth, a desire for connection, and the capacity for growth. I see counseling as a collaborative process where you can feel safe to be heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I aim to create a warm and supportive space where we can explore your experiences, relationships, and goals together. Your beliefs and values are an important part of your story. If faith or spirituality is meaningful to you, I am open to including it in our work together; if it is not, that will be respected as well. My hope is that our work together helps you gain clarity, discover new possibilities, and take meaningful steps toward the changes you want to make.
I am expanding my clinical experience under the supervision of Charity Creech, LPC and am committed to providing thoughtful, ethical care while continuing to grow as a Practicum/Internship student in training. Building trust, protecting confidentiality, and creating a safe space for our work together are priorities in my practice.

Hasani Davenport, Counseling Intern
I am a counseling intern pursuing my Master's degree at Liberty University, where I am deepening my training in Christian counseling principles integrated with evidence-based practices. With a strong foundation in psychology, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Oregon State University.
As a Christian counselor, I believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power of Christ's work to bring healing, restoration, and wholeness to every area of life. My approach integrates biblical truth with compassionate, client-centered counseling to help individuals address emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where God's grace meets practical tools for growth and change.
For the past six years, I have dedicated myself to serving homeless youth, guiding them toward stability, self-sufficiency, and renewed hope. This hands-on experience has deepened my passion for walking alongside those facing adversity, trauma, or life transitions, helping them rediscover their God-given worth and purpose.
Whether you're navigating personal struggles, seeking spiritual direction, or working toward emotional healing, I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space grounded in empathy, faith, and professional care. I look forward to partnering with you on your path to wholeness in Christ.

Kelsey Lal, ma, ncc, Professional counseling associate
Women | Single Mothers | Divorce Recovery | Veterans | Identity & Healing
As a Professional Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
My passion is creating an environment that fosters emotional freedom. That means freedom from fear, shame, grief, disconnection, or whatever burden you're carrying. Healing looks different for everyone, but I truly believe that freedom and building capacity is possible.
I like to strip away labels and work with people simply as who they are, not as a diagnosis or a category. Many of the people I sit with have been fighting for a long time and are finally ready to rest. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore the difficult parts of your story with compassion and courage. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, and I tailor the work to fit the individual in front of me.
I've come to deeply value creating space for people to grow bigger rather than smaller, along with authenticity and human connection. My hope is that our work together helps you make meaning, shift patterns, and take real steps toward lasting change.
Seeking help takes courage, and I know it can feel intimidating. If you feel we might be a good fit, I offer a free consultation so you can ask questions, learn more about the process, and decide if this feels like the right next step for you.

Dana Gescher, Counseling Intern
Couples/Marriages | Families | men | individuals
I am a Practicum/Intern currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My journey in counseling has spanned many years, beginning with experience as a lay group leader, progressing to a Certified Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional (PSAP), and now moving into a practicum intern role. Since my conversion to Christ as a young adult, I’ve been committed to helping others find healing and growth. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Youth Work from Corban University (formerly Western Baptist College).
My approach to counseling is integrative. I utilize person-centered, psychodynamic, and attachment-based therapeutic approaches. These are informed by family systems theory, neuroscience, and trauma-informed lenses. I also integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into my practice. Furthermore, I have specialized training in the Carnes 30 Task Model for Sex Addiction and regularly incorporate Dr. John Townsend’s Character Model, a research-informed, psychodynamic approach. With experience working in the field since 2018, I consider it a privilege to help people experiencing negative realities realize their worth and potential. As a recovering perfectionist, I’ve learned the power of grace in accepting imperfections, both in myself and in others. I am committed to creating a safe, secure, and empathetic space where clients feel accepted, understood, and empowered to collaborate on their goals for positive change. I offer counseling services to individuals and couples, and I enjoy couples work equally as well as other counseling.
On a personal note, I have been happily married for 38 years. I am blessed with three adult daughters and five grandchildren who bring me immense joy. In my free time, I cherish spending time with friends, whether it’s enjoying weekend get-togethers or pursuing hobbies like home improvement projects, shooting, or cooking for friends. I also enjoy unwinding with trips to the Oregon Coast and vacations in Mexico – especially Isla Mujeres!
I am currently expanding my clinical experience as a Practicum and Internship student with Randy Krieger in Redmond, Oregon. I am committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in my practice.
